However, its extensive integration with system settings and specific third-party applications separates Bixby from Google Assistant and Siri. You may send messages to your friends and family or manage standard system settings with the other two digital assistants. What is Bixby Text Call ?

One of the nicest features of Google Pixel phones is call screening; Samsung's equivalent is called Bixby Text Call. Bixby Text Call is a phone call screener that was first included in the Android 13-based One UI 5 version in South Korea. It was then updated to include support for English in One UI 5.1.

Real-time transcription of the other caller's speech is done by the virtual assistant. After that, you have the option to reply quickly or by composing your message. Having this option is beneficial, particularly if you get calls from unknown numbers all day long and don't want to waste time answering them.

Almost all Samsung devices running One UI 5.1, including the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, have English Bixby Text Call accessible.

Press and hold the three dots on the Phone app to bring up the Settings menu. From there, pick Bixby Text Call. Finally, select the Bixby language and voice in the Language and Voice section. Four voice choices are available for Bixby. For Bixby Text Call, you may adjust the quick replies using the quick replies option.

When a call comes in, you'll get a Bixby Text Call option once the functionality is enabled. So, when the Bixby Text Call option shows up on the screen during an incoming call, tap it. When the caller answers, Bixby asks them why they are calling. In real-time, the voice assistant immediately records the caller's words. You may manually type what you want Bixby to say to the caller, or you can use the pre-provided short replies.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, Bixby stands out as Samsung's versatile digital assistant, offering a wide range of functionalities that enhance user experience on Samsung smartphones and other devices. Its seamless integration with system settings and third-party applications sets it apart from its competitors, Siri and Google Assistant, allowing users to perform a variety of tasks with just their voice commands.
